Well, I haven't gained, and I haven't lost either. After being soooooo bloody hopeful of losing this baby podge, who am I kidding? It's a whole lot more then mere podge. Anyway, I have gone and done it again, and my intense weight loss campaign will have to be on hold for a while longer. It's all good, I am blessed, but I fear what I will become :( Walking is still in the picture, the treadmill better come in the picture, or I will be an extremelty hormonal lady raging throughout this city I call home :)

Anyhoo, will keep y'all updated on what becomes of me in the next few months.

9kg in 3 month

Yup... 9kg at 3 months is 3kg a month... I suck!

I have reached only half the weightloss I planned to. Ramadhan saw no workouts, but a 2 kg weight loss.. so that wasn't as bad as I thought (I was sure I would GAIN weight.. lol)..

So..... I still have a long way to go. I will continue the walk away the pounds, meal portions. I have yet to get the treadmill I sooo NEED, so when that finally arrives in my humble abode I will be one happy camper. My BIG behind needs some major work :)

Its been 7 days...

Ok, so its been 7 days (ok today is day 8) since I have come to the full realization that my weight will not melt off without any work. My metabolism has slowed down significantly, firstly due to having my second baby, and secondly due to having a thyroid problem (which I have not begun medicating for). I was in Duba a few weeks ago, and when I returned  started my usual facebook picture uploads, only this time I did not dare add any pictures of me that showed anything from the waist down. So on Wednesday May 26th 2010,  started walking away the pounds with Leslie Sansone. This is not the first time I used her to lose weight. In 2003 I used her and lost 15 kg in less then 6 months,  think it was more or less 4 months, but I was doing 6 miles a day, and had a more active life in Toronto. Anyhoo,  am currently doing 3 miles a day, cut down on what I eat. I am not going to go on a diet, I smply want to teach myself to portion control. Let me make it clear though, I have never been those women who sit down to HUGE plates of food, but as I am getting older nature is doing its best to keep the fat on me, and  need to fight. So I have a goal of about 1 1/2 kg a week, about 6 kg a month, and hopefully in about 3-4 months I will have lost atleast 15kg enshallah. I must stress, that  am NOT going on a diet;   I don't believe n quick fixes, and just need to figure out how to maintain a good balance once I get this initial weight off me. I must also remember that I am breastfeeding my son, and will probably do so for at least another 10 months enshallah.

Wish me luck, and  I will try my best to keep my weght loss fun and chalenges up-to-date on perhaps a weekly basis :)

Alrighty, well this is a blog dedicated to my weight-loss goals. In 3 years, I have gotten pregnant twice and had two healthy beautiful babies il7amdlilah. Along with those adorable bundles came some extra junk in the trunk.. who am I kidding? I have some extra junk all over! So now, I am putting out there, I NEED to lose weight! I want to lose weight, so... I will be jotting down my success and failures. Will post on what I am doing right, and what I am doing wrong (Jut had a snicker chocolate bar!!!!) I will decide on whether I will be measuring lbs or inches as well... And hopefully after this journey, I will be able to fit into a pair of size 4 ok, I will be perfectly happy with size 6 ! So wish me some luck, and show me some love <3
